Every Hajj season brings small operational changes, and most of them only matter if you are the one holding the passport. For 2027 there are three that will affect the way we work with pilgrims booked on our packages, and all three are worth knowing before you pay a deposit.

Passports are collected earlier

We are collecting passports in the first quarter rather than the second. The quota is allocated once and closes when it is full, and last season we watched two families miss out by three weeks. If your passport expires within a year of the season, renew it now rather than waiting for us to ask.

The Mina camp zones have moved

The zone boundaries in Mina have been redrawn, which changes the walking distance to Jamarat for some camps. Our Premium groups move into Zone 2 this year, which cuts roughly fifteen minutes off the walk in each direction. Standard groups stay in Zone 3, and the shuttle timing has been adjusted to match.

  • Standard: Zone 3, shuttle to Jamarat during peak hours
  • Premium: Zone 2, roughly a fifteen-minute walk
  • Executive: VIP camp, closest walking access available

Training has moved to weekends

The four pre-departure sessions now run on Saturdays in Victoria Island, because the weekday evening sessions were badly attended by pilgrims coming from the mainland. Attendance is compulsory, and we record each session for anyone travelling from outside Lagos.

The pilgrims who struggle are almost never the unfit ones. They are the ones who skipped the training and did not know what happens after Fajr on the eighth.

Aisha Bello, Head of Pilgrimage Services

If you are booked with us, your group coordinator will confirm your training dates when your deposit clears. If you are still deciding, come to the first session as a guest and see what the preparation involves.
